Greetings from America,

My name is Brian Bradford and I am happy to have joined this forum. I was recently able to acquire the Dragon Games Wieden 1693, Kircholm 1605, and Grunwald 1410

I'm still looking for Parkany (if anyone has one for sale)

First, I know that your company has done Grunwald. I downloaded the rules for your Grunwald game and they look similar in style to the old Dragon version. If this is so, then are the English rules for it the same as in the original game from Dragon? If not, then can I play the old Dragon version using the new rules?

I was also wondering if you will be doing the other two titles, Wieden, and Kircholm in the future. For now, I am going to try to use Google to translate these two into English. I know that it won't be exact, but maybe I will be able to understand enough to play.

There is a lot of love over here in the States for Hussar games. The recent "With Fire and Sword" miniatures game has been a smash hit. I play it with my Polish, Muscovite, Swedish, and Ottoman Armies, all in 15mm. When coming out with these Hussar games, keep in mind that there is a market over here in the States, so making English translations for them would be advisable.

Thank you,
Brian

Nope, they're totally different. New Grundwald has different rules and is also much more historically accurate. Well, everything is possible, so you could try to adapt old Grundwald to the new rules, but it'd be damn hard, I guess.
If you enjoyed Kircholem and Wiedeń, please take care that Taktyka i Strategia just released Kłuszyn 1610 this year and Beresteczko 1651 is in plans, as far as I know. Guess you might like 'em.

The rules that I downloaded for Grunwald use illustrations from the Dragon edition, as well as the same images for the counters in the game.

Now I know that the new Grunwald counters are different than the older Dragon version, so why were they used instead of images from the new version?

I was also looking at the facebook site and saw posters for Vienna 1683. Are there plans to reprint this game too?

Brian

Alright, I just looked at where I found the rules. They were on BGG here:
http://boardgamegeek.com/...4/grunwald-1410

so these are the rules for the Dragon Version of the game!

Yep! Yes, they are. But like I said, this old Grunwald is full of historical mistakes and quite boring, when it comes to gameplay (all you need is to catch enemy counter with two counters of yours and prey for good roll). New version has much better rules, same system used for Bannockburn too: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/138325/bannockburn-1314

No, it's rather impossible. But there's chance for remake with for the "Husaria" wargames system.
